This Seiko SKX007 dual time mod combines the rugged good looks of an AR-coated flat-style sapphire with an upgraded sub-style bezel. The bezel houses a 12-hour bezel insert that's incredibly useful: a dead simple dual-time function, allowing you to track two time zones as easily as rotating the bezel a few clicks. It's a great timepiece for trips across the country or around the globe. Drilled lugs make for quick band swaps.
The new case features drilled lugs, making it easy to swap brands in less than 30 seconds so you can vary up your look without fear of scratching up your case or the cost of taking it to the jeweler. The case features a signed Seiko "S" screw down fitted with three gaskets for maximum water resistance (stock SKX crowns have just one gasket).
We went with a classic Seiko SKX dial and hands, with an accented seconds hand with a lollipop tip. The crown is comfortably positioned in the 3:45 position. We accented the watch with a brushed steel chapter ring for a clean and distinctive look.
The movement is a regulated Seiko NH36 which features quick-set day/date features, hacking and hand-winding. These movements are known for their durability and can last decades without service (although we recommend a service every five years or so).
Like all our watches, this one comes with a supple Seiko OEM silicone Turtle band with polished and brushed hardware to complete the look. Dual-time watches are our specialty, and they sell out quickly. Feel free to email email@example.com or message us using the contact links below with any questions.
